WebEx: Video Conferencing – Record a Cisco Webex Meeting

Skype: Skype for Business: Recording a Meeting | Information Technology Services | Bemidji State University

Google Meet: Record a video meeting – Meet Help

Zoom: Local Recording – Zoom Help Center

Microsoft Teams: Record a meeting in Teams – Office Support

  • The camera lens should be at eye level. The video should include your face, neck and shoulders with adequate space above your head. You can ensure this by placing your camera at a level where you can sit up straight while also maintaining direct eye contact with the lens.Look directly into the camera lens when speaking and avoid gazing at the screen. This will significantly improve your presentation’s overall impact.
  • The camera should be positioned no further than a meter away.

  • Dress in Smart Business attire.

  • Ideally, position yourself from a light source (such as a window) that is directly behind your camera so that it shines brightly and evenly on your face. Natural light works best for the lighting.
  • Avoid having the main light source in the background such as when you are positioned with a window behind you. Close any window blinds and turn on the lights in your room instead. Most cameras may not focus properly if the light source is behind the subject.

Audio Quality

  • Make sure the space where you are recording your presentation has good acoustics. The room must have minimal echo and no background noise.
  • Refrain from using headphones.

As a reminder, videos and PPT presentations that are not received by the deadline will be considered no-shows in accordance with the conference non-presented paper policy. We look forward to making the 4th SEASIA Biennial Conference 2022 a success within this hybrid conference format. We thank you for your kind cooperation in this endeavor.
